Escape Reality.
Making photographs is my escape. I try to focus on Nature/Landscapes and Wildland Fire Photography. Many things in life can be reproduced and staged, but nature is raw. If I am lucky enough to capture any of that with my camera I'm happy. Could be a deep canyon trail far from civilization or a seemingly endless collection of cotton candy clouds hovering over the Sonoran desert at dusk. Perhaps the last blood red leaf to fall from the tree before the chill of winter sets in, or a hot wall of fire and smoke breathing and consuming it's way across the forest floor. Nature displays the most amazing eye candy.
After spending time with my photographs, check out some of the links to other sites. There is a link to an amazing photographic artist in Oregon named Marc Adamus that EVERYONE should know about. His landscapes inspire me to always try harder.
